The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), in cooperation with TechHub Riga, announces applications for the "Startup Schools of Schools" training program, which will take place from October 31 to December 5 for the second year already.
The program aims to provide in-depth knowledge of various stages of the development cycle of startups and potential problems under the guidance of high-level international professionals and mentors. The program's long-term goal is to make Latvia an internationally recognized place where scientific research-based startups exist and are developed, which can attract the attention of representatives of high-tech industries.
The content of the sessions is tailored for teams with prior knowledge and aspiring founders with an understanding of the basic startup principles who want to gain more knowledge from industry professionals.
The startup training program will be online in English from October 31 to December 5. The program consists of six sessions. Under the guidance of one or more internationally recognized mentors, these six sessions will address a startup's significant challenges at the pre-seed and seed stages. For in-depth knowledge acquisition, it will be possible to apply for short consultations with the experts to discuss an individual problem and receive recommendations for solving it. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to improve their presentation skills in a practical workshop and prove them in a pitch competition, where it will be possible to win prizes provided by partner organizations.
"Find out, share, learn, solve - all this is possible during training; it's an open environment for startup founders to get valuable advice and practical solutions. I highly recommend using this opportunity." Biruta Elīza Kirmuška (LIAA, leading expert of the Start-up Department) comments about the training.
