LABRAINS is a premium quality, natural dermocosmetics made in Latvia for facial skin care, intended for all skin types, especially for people with sensitive and problematic skin. Looking to rapidly expand its exports not only throughout Europe but also to countries in Africa and Asia, in 2024 the company answered the call put out by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) to be part of the Latvian national exhibit at the Southeast Asian Healthcare and Pharma Show – SEACare 2024 (17–19 April in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and the Vietnam Medi-Pharma Expo 2024 (1–3 August in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam) in Asia.
In collaboration with its partners, LABRAINS is currently active in the Netherlands, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and China, it also sees significant potential for expansion in Asia.
“We already see LABRAINS holding a strong position in the clean beauty segment. People are increasingly looking for skin care products that are not harmful to their own health or that of the environment in the long-term. For this reason, the opportunity to take part in such large-scale expos in the Asian market was a strategically crucial step in the company’s development, it means growth, new partnerships, new contacts and new experience,” Dr. oec. Līga Brūniņa, chemist, environmental expert and the creator of LABRAINS, explains.
“At this year’s expo, we established new contacts for cooperation and launched negotiations about new business partnerships. This experience demonstrates our commitment to bring innovation and excellence to the natural skin-care industry. In Vietnam, we networked with potential distributors, with whom we are now in negotiations. And in Malaysia we significantly raised our brand awareness and strengthened our pre-existing cooperation relations,” Līga Brūniņa says.
