The Ignition Event is a unique 2-day experience designed by the international commercialization platform Commercialization Reactor to create efficient deep-tech start-up teams.
The 20th Ignition Event will take place on November 11-12, 2022. During the event, entrepreneurial individuals will be able to attend a technology showcase, where pre-selected scientists from Latvia as well as other countries will present their scientific achievements. After choosing a technology, entrepreneurs will be able to form a high-potential science-based business with scientists.
Deep-tech proto-companies created during the Ignition Event will be eligible for up to €300.000 pre-seed and seed funding from Commercialization Reactor Fund.

How to participate in the 20th “Ignition Event”?
Participation in the “Ignition Event” is free of charge.
Register at commercializationreactor.com till November 7, if you want to launch your deep-tech start-up!
To participate, it is preferable that you should qualify via one of the training programs for entrepreneurial individuals designed by Commercialization Reactor and co-organized by LIAA (“Cutting Edge Entrepreneurship” or “Smart Business Masterclasses”).
Still, if you want an insight into the deep-tech world and learn how the Ignition Event works, you can also join as a viewer. You will have the opportunity to follow up on panel discussions with entrepreneurs and investors, as well as watch pitch presentations created during the event, where the entrepreneurs will present an idea to potential investors based on the innovation created by the scientist. The online live stream will be available on LIAA's Facebook page, follow LIAA and Commercialization Reactor socials to be up to date.
