The 23rd Ignition Event matchmaking is a unique experience organized by Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and designed by the international commercialization platform Commercialization Reactor to facilitate creation of efficient deep-tech start-up teams.
The 23rd Ignition Event matchmaking will take place on December 6, 2024, online. During the event, entrepreneurial individuals will be able to attend a technology showcase, where pre-selected scientists from Latvia and other European countries will present their scientific achievements. Entrepreneurs will also be able to participate in roundtable discussions and networking with scientists to form potential teams.
To participate in matchmaking with scientists, you need to have completed one of the deep-tech training programs for entrepreneurial individuals designed by Commercialization Reactor (“Ignition Qualifiers”, “Cutting Edge Entrepreneurship” or “Road to your Smart Business Masterclasses”) or participated in the Commercialization Reactor’s pre-acceleration program.
If you haven’t attended any of the above programs, you can still qualify by joining the in-person Ignition Event Bootcamp taking place in Riga (LIAA, Pērses iela 2) on December 2, 2024.
If you simply want an insight into the deep-tech world and learn how the Ignition Event works, you are welcome to join as an observer. You will have the opportunity to follow up on panel discussions with entrepreneurs and investors, as well as watch pitch presentations created during the event, where the entrepreneurs will present an idea to potential investors based on the innovation created by the scientist. Follow LIAA and Commercialization Reactor socials to be up to date.
